Les , advised on a sensible cost effective solution to roof a large glass roofed conservatory , as it is attached to a listed building it took a while before we got the ok to go ahead , Les honoured the original quote and completed the work to a high standard , other possible suppliers did not have the experience/knowledge to suggest and work with us to overcome issues, like all good trades he is very busy and in the current climate patience is required , coffee helps , plus payment promptly ????

Kyle was very professional and fitted our worktops to a very high standard. He had a couple of technical issues to workaround due to the depth of some of our units but he had no problem sorting it out. I'd definitely recommend Kyle for any carpentry works.

Hi My name is Llyw I am a qualified joiner and have been in the trade for the past 14 years. In the past I have worked in the joinery industry working to very high standards producing hardwood windows, doors , shopfronts etc. Once I felt my time had come to an end in this role I worked closely with an investor sourcing , purchasing, project managing and renovating property. In more recent years I have been working within the kitchen installation and renovation industry. This can vary from supplying and installing kitchens from many of your well known kitchen manufacturers to installing high end bespoke framed kitchens. I now feel I have found the industry I truly enjoy and take great pride in my work and service I provide. With my background in producing high end joinery products and working to fine tolerances I can ensure a quality installation, finish and product. Steve did an excellent job in removing the corner tape, placing and re-painting. You would never know there was any problem! Materials were paid for upfront which we were a little bit worried about at first but materials and team turned up at agreed time. Another payment was made halfway through and on completion as agreed. Darren completely transformed our run down mud bath garden into a lovely clean family garden that we all absolutely love. Darren is a friendly chap who just knuckles down and gets on with the job. He went above and beyond in our garden. Miracles really do happen with Sowerby slabs. Thanks Darren

You can see why Smith & Son get a good rating. You get a friendly builder that does a good job. We employed him to fit a steel beam and a door lintel. The site was tidied up on completion and advice was given about covering the beam and contacting building control. Thanks Ian and team, great job, thoroughly recommended.
