Placed advert Thursday. Contacted same day by Mike with a view to coming out and quoting next day. Came on time priced the job on Friday and arranged to start work on the Tuesday. Mike worked with his son Silas. What a really nice pair. Genuine, polite and got on with the job even though I asked for a few tweaks along the way. Both very old school and worked at their own pace - happy with work carried out and will use them again. Reasonable price too.

This gentleman met me on site a few minutes early, looked at the job and got on with the plastering in a clean,pleasant, professional manner. Having observed his competence on the initial job, I did not hesitate to offer him further work which he also completed. I have no hesitation in recommending him and will certainly contact Steve again when the two shower rooms are ready for tiling. His pricing is competitive and offers good value for money. Steve radiates the air of a competent man that can be left to get on with it ....and that is exactly what he did. Thankyou for an excellent site and thank you Steve for doing a great job. We are very happy with the plaster boarding which Dean carried out on our bedroom ceiling. He explained everything really well and carried out the work to a high standard. He dealt with a few issues which cropped up until the job was completed. Dean left everywhere clean and tidy and we have future jobs lined up with him. Thank you Dean.

I can't rate Evans&Son; (Paul) highly enough. After meeting Paul only once I was comfortable enough to be able to handover the keys to the house (which is 200 miles away from where I now live) and let Paul get on with the job (painting all walls and woodwork, replacing carpets and floor tiles, and general maintenance jobs around the house). Paul did a fantastic job, was very competitively priced, and stuck to price originally quoted.

J Stubbings contacted me within seconds of posting the job and agreed to come the next day to give me a price. The price was very good value compared to prices i had received from local tradesman. On the day of the job John was spot on time. The work was completed to a high standard and John was very clean and tidy along the way. I would not hesitate to have John again.

Ian is a very friendly, knowledgeable and reliable chap with clearly a lot of experience in all aspects of the building trade. He completed a re rendering job and damp prevention job on my bay window. Explained exactly what he was going to do and why. Completed the job in a day and everything was neat and well done. Kept me up to date throughout as I was away. Highly recommended and reliable.
