It was a thorough job, done well and cheerfully - my path AND my neighbours', finished within the day! Price very reasonable, & we negotiated a discount for the two jobs at once. Highly recommended.

John and Dane were fantastic - highly recommend Chaucer Paving! Excellent standard of work, turned up early every day and got the job done in very difficult circumstances (covid pandemic) right up to / immediately after the UK lock down, and observed social distancing respectfully at all times. Helpful, polite, hard-working, reasonably priced and did a great job. I look forward to calling John again when we need a new fence out the front. Thanks guys! (job was laying new patio/fencing/gate/shed base)

Jim was friendly, reliable, and great value for money. The work took a couple of days longer than expected due to the density of the mortar in our brickwork but this didn't affect the original quote and it was great to have a tradesman who got on with his work but also happy to chat and explain the whole process.

They deserve good marks all round. The quote was extremely reasonable and competitive. Once we agreed the job, they turned up on the day, on time! The project was finished on budget in the projected time frame, and all the while they were extremely pleasant, professional, and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

Fantastic job done by Charles and the team at Down Well. From the initial quote and visit Charles was very helpful and honest. Provided a very reasonable quote to clean up my garden. Very friendly team and prompt on the day. This is a very hard working team who works efficiently to complete the job. Have already lined up a second job for Charles. Highly recommended.
