A quick, efficient and friendly set of guys. I had them in to clean and paint my mums fence, and then she asked them to do some jet washing and further painting around the garage. All in all, great value for money. My mum was very happy with the work ethic and outcome. If she’s happy so I was very happy. We’ll definitely be calling them back in at a later date.

About me i have over 12 years in the trade and started my own company in 2019 as I was working for a company doing shop fitting there was no room for progression so I started my own business in joinery. Last year my company went limited I’ve done over 5 years in college and university I have my level 2 & 3 in carpentry and joinery (city and guilds) and I also have my degree in construction management (Bsc). I’m new to this platform but not new in the trade I have an eye for detail and no corners are cut I aim to do a job as though it was my own. Complete mess up. Ok with some work but regards to a tiler then stay away. Would not have hired if we knew the poor workmanship. Asked for payments up front and also broke items that he installed and would not accept the damage. Price was agreed on a 5 day works and when he left with only 1/3rd of the bathroom done it was running into 14. We had to ask him to leave as the smell of drink was awful. Not only that but we have had to get the bathroom ripped out as non of it was compliant. Thanks Hue.

Unfortunately, over 12 months into the project, it is still not finished. There were a few circumstances outside of Tom's influence, but the delay's have been accompanied by repeated lies about finalising the project, and poor quality of the work that has been done.
Very quick response and started work the next day. Reliable and hard working. Seem to have done a good job on the roof which was leaking - only time will tell. Stayed late to finish off plastering inside the house, which was a great help as we didn't need to find a second tradesman to do this. Altogether I would certainly recommend Star Roofing.
