I would highly recommend this company, working on an old cottage threw up a few unexpected problems along the way, A solution was found quickly and seemed to leave Steve unfazed. Steve and the lads were all very friendly, hardworking and polite. They were tidy workers and have done an excellent job, At last I have my dream kitchen which exceeds all my expectations. Materials were paid for upfront which we were a little bit worried about at first but materials and team turned up at agreed time. Another payment was made halfway through and on completion as agreed. Darren completely transformed our run down mud bath garden into a lovely clean family garden that we all absolutely love. Darren is a friendly chap who just knuckles down and gets on with the job. He went above and beyond in our garden. Miracles really do happen with Sowerby slabs. Thanks Darren

You can see why Smith & Son get a good rating. You get a friendly builder that does a good job. We employed him to fit a steel beam and a door lintel. The site was tidied up on completion and advice was given about covering the beam and contacting building control. Thanks Ian and team, great job, thoroughly recommended.

Patrick came out on a Sunday which was much appreciated and did a great job replacing a bathroom unit. He was pleasant and personable. I would definitely ask Patrick to quote for other jobs and would recommend him to others.

Redacre contacted me( mr pete allen) he arranged for me to come and look at his last job which was a wet room it was wonderful and i had never even thought of having one!! We agreed on a price. Pete's workmanship was of the highest standard, he was always on time,clean and tidy and a joy to have in my home, as were the people whom he subcontracted to. Pete went above and beyond my expectations. My new wet room is more than i could have hoped for. Everyone who has seen has been very complimentary.

Once contacted, Andrew responded and visited promptly to assess and quote repairs needed. Once quote was accepted Andrew duly arrived when he Said he would and all work was Carried out to high and clean standard! Many thanks to him and I would recommend him.

I am really pleased with every aspect of John's work. From start to finish he has been professional, honest and approachable. I had a few quotes for my job and picked John as he seemed the most competent and was happy to talk through all the options. He also came in at a very competitive rate which helps! He always arrived on time and insisted of clearing away each night. All of his team also worked to a high standard. My job had it's challenges but John has the experience and skills to overcome anything!

Took time to find out exactly what we wanted, drew up and agreed the plans for the the local authority accordingly and provided detailed costings. Provided realistic timetable & started on agreed date.Were clean and tidy workers, aware we still had to live whilst they were working. Any issues were discussed as they occurred and resolved. Finished in timescale.Also helped reduce costs. Excellent work and workers, really pleased with the new extension and patio, on budget and all certification received.
