George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. I didn't use Martin on this occasion more due to my own timings then anything else but would certainly look to contact him in the future for any other jobs required.

Needed some sofas moving out the window, explained the job and AtoZ called quickly. They accepted the gig, and said theyd turn up prepared. They arrived, but as it was only 2 of them, we were expected to help too, which is fine, but usually makes it cheaper... But it didn't. Got the job done, friendly, just not so cost effective.

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

Completed resurfacing outside our business premises in December. The work was carried out promptly. BUT after a few months the surface started breaking down. A call was made. The contractor came, looked and said sorry but the work was for domestic purpose not business. It is blatantly obvious that this is a side road and as such will be used more than in a domestic situation. I have not seen him since. I would not have any work done by this company again.

We agreed a price he turned up the first day and filled in some places but then didn’t turn up again until I called him. He then decided he could not do part of the job so we renegotiated the price minus the rendering the fascia work. He put filler everywhere and left so much dust and filler and then again txted me to say he wanted more money to complete job , the same as original price but he was doing half the work, I said no and I didn’t hear from him again. He left the exterior in a terrible state.

insisted on sealing around conservatory roof with silcone sealant instead of fitting flashing even after repeatedly asking for flashing to be fitted, when roof inevitably leaked would not return to rectify and not returning phone calls/texts

This is now a one man band not a company. The brick work was of an adequate standard but unfortunately the problem came with the roof. I had paid too much up front and he never returned to finish the job.

This job was made more difficult due to access issues to the rear of my property, so had to come throu back garden of neighbours, this didn't phase Alan at all, didn't cause any problems for them either. The lads did a good job with the wall. They helped with some advice and also kindly broke up some concrete for me whilst 'on site' which wasn't in the job spec. They kept all of their appointments.

Have been that Impressed by his work, I have asked him to do another job at my house. He is a gentleman.
Nice guy but let me down terribly. I needed 3 rooms to have new ceilings. A messy job and taking the old ones down was fine, but they ran out of time, failed to complete the job leaving gaps in the plaster on the walls and failed to skim the plaster board on the ceilings. Shocking result- they were too concerned about the large job they had and left my rooms in a shocking state.
