Stewart my work partner and myself Adam, combined have over 60 years experience in the building industry. We run a small friendly team of committed guys that have everyone in mind when it comes to health and safety and maintaining a clean and tidy work site with minimal disruption while works commence. Our primarily trades are carpentry/joinery, bricklaying, plumbing, plastering and landscaping. however Stewart and i alone have served lengthy apprenticeships with our fathers and right from the off have turned our hands to all aspects of the building trade. Most importantly we value our customers criteria and strive to go the extra mile in both keeping to strict rota and maintain the job is not only completed within the time frame but to a high standard. We honour our good reputation of being punctual and polite and most importantly easily approachable combined making it an easy working atmosphere which we feel is vitally important. I have been a carpenter since I could lift my Dad’s hammer aged 3! The picture is my late Dad Roy Gilbert , the best teacher I ever had, pictured with my son Alex, the future of our company and a complete tach head! From the age of 14 working through the school holidays , to full time for the past 25 years self-employed. Working around the London and Home Counties of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire based in Denham with easy access to the M40 and M25 I am ideally located with my own equipped workshop. I have built garden studios from scratch or put together flat packs, the choices are endless, with decks and chill out zones for BBQ’s and other events . Rhodes builders were 1 of 10 companies who quoted on our extension. Josh was only 1 of 2 that we considered giving the job too.
